The Retired First Responders Therapy Group is dedicated to creating a supportive and nurturing environment where retired first responders can come together to share their experiences, foster connections, and promote mental well-being. Our mission is to provide a safe space for individuals to discuss the unique challenges they face in retirement and to facilitate personal growth and healing through peer support and professional guidance.

Emotional Support - To provide a confidential and understanding environment where members can openly share their thoughts and feelings related to their careers and transitions into retirement.

Community Building - To foster a sense of camaraderie and friendship among retired first responders, helping them to rebuild social connections and combat feelings of isolation.

Mental Health Resources - To educate members about mental health issues such as PTSD, depression, and anxiety, and to offer access to professional resources and referrals for additional support.

Skill Development - To provide workshops and activities that promote coping strategies, stress management techniques, and self-care practices tailored to the unique needs of retired first responders.

Advocacy and Awareness - To raise awareness within the community about the mental health challenges faced by first responders, advocating for their needs and promoting resources available to them.

Through these goals, we aim to empower retired first responders to lead fulfilling lives, reconnect with their purpose, and support one another in their journey of healing and growth.
